We made it through the Cherry Fest Traverse City!!! Rejoice! Ha ha!! Tonight's podcast was awesome, despite all our technical difficulties! Strange Flavors has a very cool sound & backstory of how the band formed as well! A must hear group if you are around the U of M area of the state! And Deka was in town for the National Cherry Festival last week but we got a chance to hear his story of his artwork that you may see on your next vacation on the sides of city buildings or other public structures! In the 8 o clock hour we spoke with JP of Keychain from Montreal in Quebec, Canada! These guys have a sick sound man! They revive the old feel you had when you first heard bands like Rage, Limp Bizkit, Korn & some of the other numetal bands many of us grew up loving! But they do it heavier man! We also spoke with Genevieve Slater of Designs By Genevieve in Grand Rapids about her business in interior design! Dino Goss of Graves Crossing called in too to talk a little about Metalfest IV happening July 21-22. And Coke Hogan has people who are calling him out online!! Ha ha!! She has a beautiful voice & grew up right here in northern Michigan before travelling to Nashville where she's been bumping elbows with some top names in the scene, including Confederate Railroad, Charlie Daniels, Buddy Jewell and Jeff Carson! Very cool!! In the 2nd hour of the show, we chat with Jedediah Miers of Trademark Zero & Danny Grim, both formally of Graves Crossing, who ended up coming together to form their own side project "Sylva!" We even get to hear the first ever performance of "Breathe," a song that Danny wrote about his mother who passed away when he was only 12. It was very emotional & is a powerful song!! Can't wait to hear more from their new act as well as Jeds gig Trademark Zero! They'll be recording soon! And Jed got to meet his hero too! I love our listeners!!! Tonight we hung out at the 5 After 5 studios along with a slew of in house guests! Up and coming singer/songwriter/comedian Brandon Davis came by and dropped some freestyle with the band. Our new friend Jimmy Walsh grabbed the guitar. Dino Goss from Graves Crossing came over and even surprised us with 2 tickets we're giving away to see them opening up for Red Sun Rising at Streeters Ground Zero, April 1st! Tonight's show was GREAT!! To start it all off, the pizza guy finally showed up!! We heard a blast from the past tonight! Sta called in at the start of the show during our NonProfit Soapbox segment to talk about a haircut & rabbits... What?! Ha ha!! Our in studio guest Mike Thue, director of the Center for Compassion in Traverse City were a little caught off guard at first, but things got rolling smoothly after that!! We also heard from Soundsmyth out of Indianapolis, Indiana! Great band with a classic rock feel to em! And we heard an update from "Blind" Brandon after he was blinded by his car this past week! We hope for a speedy recovery!

We also give you our review of the Alice In Wonderland play at the old Inside-Out Gallery in TC presented by P45 Theatre. Another must see if you're in TC this week!! Great family play! And since we burnt ourselves out this past week promoting SOTSFEST, we forgot to secure a guest. I can't say enough about this week's podcast. I have to be honest though.... I was SO stressed during the live show! Ha ha!! Really! Just fretting that we were talking too much over our guests!! But then listening back to our interview with Ben Whiting & Shelby Lewis of Parallel 45's "Alice In Wonderland," I realized that this week's show was one of my favorites so far!
