Episode 69 3-26-17

Man… Where do I begin?! This week's podcast has SO MUCH going on it!! Ha ha!! Our musical guest Nagazi MetalShop from Mt. Pleasant, MI is a band that you absolutely HAVE to check out!! Brothers Joe & Jeff Hafer teamed alongside Doug McGuire & Matt Ruffino create a sound that will make you wanna start a mosh pit wherever you are as soon as you hit the play button!! Undoubtedly one of our new favorite bands! B. Davis from Gaylord also hung out in the studio with us & played along with a little “initiation” game we called “Show Quiz Shock Therapy!” I think he scored 3 outta 10! Ha ha!! You'll notice he even had a show opener all ready to roll! This guy is awesome! Our intern B-Mack will be leaving for Tennessee on Saturday, so we had a little farewell for him. We have tickets to see Red Sun Rising & Graves Crossing at Streeters Ground Zero on April 1st too!! Just leave us a review on our iTunes or Facebook page before Wednesday to possibly win!!! Episode 68 3-19-17

I love our listeners!!! Tonight we hung out at the 5 After 5 studios along with a slew of in house guests! Up and coming singer/songwriter/comedian Brandon Davis came by and dropped some freestyle with the band. Our new friend Jimmy Walsh grabbed the guitar. Dino Goss from Graves Crossing came over and even surprised us with 2 tickets we're giving away to see them opening up for Red Sun Rising at Streeters Ground Zero, April 1st! (Will post how to win em on our Facebook page this week!!) We also got to see the lovely "Face of Becoming Human" Kayla Rogers! And the big event of the night... Chatting with Ryse "Showtyme" Brink after his 12 sec KO against Jo Nehm at The DeltaPlex Arena on St Patricks Day!! Knocked the guy so silly he thought the ref was Ryse & tried to choke him out after the fight was already over! Just a great all around vibe this show! Episode 67 3-12-17

Tonight's show was GREAT!! To start it all off, the pizza guy finally showed up!! We heard a blast from the past tonight! Sta called in at the start of the show during our NonProfit Soapbox segment to talk about a haircut & rabbits... What?! Ha ha!! Our in studio guest Mike Thue, director of the Center for Compassion in Traverse City were a little caught off guard at first, but things got rolling smoothly after that!! We also heard from Soundsmyth out of Indianapolis, Indiana! Great band with a classic rock feel to em! And we heard an update from "Blind" Brandon after he was blinded by his car this past week! We hope for a speedy recovery!

We have an interesting show for you this week! We recap our SOTSFEST show that featured Becoming Human, Handsome Pete, Augres & 5 After 5! 4 AMAZING Michigan bands you gotta see when you get a chance! My daughter even agrees! We also give you our review of the Alice In Wonderland play at the old Inside-Out Gallery in TC presented by P45 Theatre. Another must see if you're in TC this week!! Great family play! And since we burnt ourselves out this past week promoting SOTSFEST, we forgot to secure a guest. So we ordered a pizza from Papa Johns at the start of the show & he still hasn't showed up as I'm typing this. Ha ha!! HURRY UP! I'M STARVING OVER HERE!!!
